getting to rank 8 in my lego network

Ingredients for Brickota Totem Pole Masterpiece
- 1 Totemic Hawk
- 1 Totemic Mountain Lion
- 1 Totemic Owl
- 1 Totemic Rabbit
- 1 Totemic Snake
- 1 Totemic Turtle
- 1 Totemic Wolf
- 1 Wi-Fi Transmitter

Getting through this level on My LEGO Network is time consuming, but pretty straightforward. First buy the seven Pet Module blueprints for 1 Friendship Bracelet each. Then build the Pet Modules and get 100 clicks on each to harvest the seven Totemic blueprints.

You may be able to save some time (and clicks) by working together with other players. If you can trade Totemic animals, you may not need to collect all seven Totemic animal blueprints.

To get the Pet Panther and Pet Bat Modules:
The Pet Panther and Pet Bat Modules are quite important when it comes to getting Purple and Green LEGO bricks. Click others players modules to try winning 5 bricks from each, and put them on your own page to grow 1 brick for every 3 clicks.

Send Achaki a Hypnotic Frequency Machine to find out the hidden networker name "Hokee". Send Hokee a Hypnotic Frequency Machine to get the Pet Bat Module blueprint and to hear the whole story about how he left the tribe. He will ask you to send Vihow a Red Flower. Vihow will ask you to send Hokee a Potted Plant. Then Hokee will send you the Pet Panther Module blueprint.

Ingredients for Enchanting Harp Masterpiece:
- 1 Mind Control Emitter
- 4 Hypnotic Frequency Machines
- 20 Platinum Albums
- 1 Electric Guitar
- 50 Orange LEGO Bricks

To Get Hit Singles:
Buy Solo Performance Module blueprint at JP Variety's page for 1 Yellow LEGO brick.
- Build it for 1 Microphone + 1 Acoustic Guitar + 5 Orange LEGO Bricks.
Then buy the Duo Performance Module blueprint at Sandee Starreyed's page for 2 Hit Singles.
- Build it for 1 Bass Guitar + 2 Microphone + 1 Electric Guitar + 10 Orange LEGO Bricks.
Or buy the Trio Performance Module blueprint at Seno Evel's page for 3 Hit Singles.
- Build it for 1 Drums + 1 Bass Guitar + 2 Microphones + 1 Electric Guitar + 20 Orange LEGO Bricks.
Or buy the Group Performance Module blueprint at Izzy Bop's page for 1 Gold Album.
- Build it for 1 Synth + 1 Drums + 1 Bass Guitar + 1 Saxophone + 4 Microphone + 2 Electric Guitar + 25 Orange LEGO Bricks.

Start with the Solo Performance Module to get a few Hit Singles. Then if you can rally together with enough friends, I recommend making the Group Performance Modules. The Duo and Trio don't cost as much to build, but the Group allows more Hit Singles per harvest. This is important because some clicks may be wasted if you don't harvest after every 15 clicks on the Trio (25 clicks on the Duo).

So team up with some friends and go click crazy on each others performance modules! A good place to find other players is at the Special Teams area on MyLEGOTips Forum.

Be careful how many times you click because the harvest limit is 5 Hit Singles (25 clicks) on the Duo, 3 Hit Singles (15 clicks) on the Trio, and 20 Hit Singles (100 clicks) on the Group. Any more than 25, 15, or 100 clicks is a waste (until your friend harvests the Hit Singles).

Convert your Hit Singles into Platinum Albums as you work through this level. It takes 200 clicks to buy the 20 Platinum Albums, so it's better to collect the plats as you go.

To Get Mind Control Emitter:
Buy Starreyed's Autograph at Sandee Starreyed's page for 1 Yellow LEGO brick.
The Autograph tells you to go to Rita Blisstow's page, she's a Hidden Networker.
Buy Hypnotic Frequency Machine blueprint at Rita Blisstow's page for 1 Starreyed's Autograph.
Send Hypnotic Frequency Machine to Seno Evel to get Secret Message 1
Send Hypnotic Frequency Machine to Rick Moon to get Secret Message 2
Send Hypnotic Frequency Machine to Izzy Bop to get Secret Message 3
Send Hypnotic Frequency Machine to David Lampton to get Forged Master Code Book blueprint.
Build the Code Book and send to JP Variety to get the Mind Control Emitter.

Additional Hint: You'll need 21 Circuitboards on the next level, so collect 210 extra Hit Singles before taking down the performance modules.

Ingredients for Jeweled Triceratops Masterpiece:
- 10 Rough Sapphires
- 10 Rough Diamonds
- 10 Rough Rubies
- 50 Green LEGO Bricks
- 50 Purple LEGO Bricks
- 30 Dino Scales
- 3 Dino Horns

To Get the Jeweled Triceratops Masterpiece blueprint:
It takes 500 clicks on The Dinosaur Excavation Module to get the Jeweled Triceratops blueprint, so it's probably a good idea to build that module early.
Buy The Dinosaur Excavation Module blueprint at Dr Killroy's for 5 Green LEGO Bricks.
Build The Dinosaur Excavation Module for 10 Green LEGO Bricks and 10 Yellow LEGO Bricks.

To Get Green LEGO Bricks:
Buy the Prehistoric Fern Module blueprint from Jen Juniper for 10 Yellow LEGO Bricks.

It grows 1 Green LEGO Brick per day, plus 1 for every 5 clicks, so get someone to click on your module to get the Green Bricks faster!

To Get Purple LEGO Bricks:
Buy the May Pop Purple Popper Module blueprint from Jen Juniper for 10 Yellow LEGO Bricks.
Build the Purple Popper Module for 20 Blue LEGO Bricks + 100 Red LEGO Bricks.

Build the Protoceratops for 10 Purple LEGO Bricks + 10 Green LEGO Bricks.
Find someone with a Dino Grazing Module Rank 1 for a chance to win 1 Dino Scale.

NOTE: Be careful not to click on a Dino Ambush Module, Rank 1 which looks very similar to the Dino Grazing Rank 1 or you'll lose your Green LEGO Bricks. Hover your mouse on the module to check the description before clicking. The ambush module has the title “Dino Grazing Module”, but it is on the second line. Real modules have the title on the top line in blue.
NEW NOTE: Unfortunately this trick no longer works. Now the ambush module looks exactly the same as the real module! I tried clicking one a couple times but never lost any green bricks so I'm not sure how many you may lose. As soon as you click one, the hungry dinosaur pops out, so it's easy to see the ambush when you first click one.

To Get More Dino Scales:
Buy Stegosaurus blueprint at Shadow's for 5 Purple LEGO Bricks.
Build the Stegosaurus for 10 Purple LEGO Bricks + 10 Green LEGO Bricks + 10 Dino Scales.

getting to rank 4 in my lego network

Ingredients for the Speedy Motorcycle Masterpiece:
- 5 Victory Trophys
- 2 Tires
- 1 Engine
- 80 Blue LEGO Bricks
- 40 Yellow LEGO Bricks
- 1 Nitro

Consider adding another Water Mill Module (or 2 if you can stand the wait) before getting too far into this level. I seem to be constantly short of blue bricks.

To Get Yellow LEGO Bricks:
Skip the Scrap Yard Sticker Module in favor of the Solar Collecting Module. The reason is that the Sticker Module makes the same amount of bricks and costs about the same, but it takes up 3 times as much space.
Buy Solar Collecting Module blueprint at Radia's for 7 Blue Bricks .
Build Solar Collecting Module for 30 Blue LEGO Bricks + 1 Potted Plant + 1 Honey Pot.

To Get First Car Blueprint:
Buy Engine at Scrap Yard Joe's for 5 Blue Bricks.
Buy Solar Power Cell blueprint at Radia's for 1 Engine.
Build Solar Power Cell for 1 Mason Jar + 1 Yellow LEGO Brick.
Buy Stunt Car Rank 1 blueprint at MacRacer's for 1 Solar Power Cell.

To Get Tires:
Buy Merchobot Module at Scrap Yard Joe's for 1 Giant.
Build Merchobot Module for 1 Engine + 25 Blue LEGO Bricks + 2 Yellow LEGO Bricks + 1 Solar Cell.
Someone on your friend list needs to put up a Merchobot. Everyone click it to send out 3 tires randomly.

To Get Even More Yellow Bricks:
Buy Engine at Scrap Yard Joe's for 5 Blue Bricks.
Send Radia an Engine to get BFF Module blueprint.
Build BFF Module for 5 Victory Ribbons + 5 Potted Plants + 10 Yellow LEGO Bricks.
If your friend also builds a BFF Module, you can both double your Yellow Brick intake.

To Get First Track Blueprint:
Buy Engine at Scrap Yard Joe's for 5 Blue Bricks.
Send MacRacer an Engine to get Stunt Track Module Rank 1 blueprint.

Order of Tracks: (skip Race Track Rank 1)
Stunt Track Rank 1 - costs 1 Stunt Car Rank 1 to build
Race Track Rank 2 - costs 1 Race Car Rank 2 to build
Stunt Track Rank 2 - costs 1 Stunt Car Rank 2 to build
Race Track Rank 3 - costs 1 Race Car Rank 3 to build
Stunt Track Rank 3 - costs 1 Stunt Car Rank 3 to build

To Get Masterpiece Blueprint:
Build and race all the tracks in the order listed above. Win on your own Stunt Track Rank 3 to get the Victory Trophy blueprint. Buy the Speedy Motorcycle Masterpiece blueprint at Radia's page for 1 Victory Trophy.

To Get Victory Ribbons:
You'll need 60 Victory Ribbons to complete this level. The masterpiece blueprint costs 1 trophy {10 ribbons} and building the masterpiece costs 5 trophies {50 ribbons}. The key to completing this rank is to collect ribbons as you work through the tracks. You need to build each of the tracks in order to get the Victory Trophy blueprint. (see Order of Tracks above). Each track costs a car to build, but before spending your car on building your track, go find someone who's already built their track and race them. For each car you build, be sure to win lots of ribbons before spending that car to build the next track. Hope this makes sense, I'll add a more detailed post about Getting Victory Ribbons soon.

See items to rank four below for locations of other miscellaneous car parts.

getting to rank 2 in my lego network

This is a walk through, a detailed guide leading a user through a rank or mini-rank, and it does not need to adhere as strictly to the standard writing style as normal articles do.

Your goal for rank one is to build the royal hive queen masterpiece!

Once the meanings of all the actions and buttons introduced in rank 0 are clear, the rest of the ranks are fairly easy. But for new users, Rank 1 can be tricky, so provided below are two walkthroughs: one for new users and one for the experienced.

Walk through for New Users

ake sure you understand the definitions provided in the rank 0 walk through before continuing.

A Brief Introduction to Modules

  • Under your Private View, you have a tab named Page Builder. Click on it.
    • Definition: The Page Builder is a tool used to create your Public View (see below.)
  • On the left, there is a list of Modules. Select the LEGO Tree Module and drag it anywhere onto an outlined box.
    • Definition: A Module is an object that goes onto your Public View (once again, you'll see it later.) Everyone else can see your Modules. The LEGO Tree Module is a particular Module that grows Red LEGO Bricks — ten for every 24 hours, to be exact. Be sure to look at the other Modules on the left-hand bar and check them out!
    • Note: Modules have Blueprints, just as Items do! You can buy the Blueprint for the LEGO Tree Module at Farmer John's page. With the Blueprint, you can build more Tree Modules and grow even more Red LEGO Bricks every day.
  • Click on Save Page. Don't forget to do this, or your changes will be lost!
  • Now click on the Public Page tab above.
    • Definition: Your public view is the place where you can see everyone's page, including yours.

The Walk through

  • return to your Inventory and build five apples.
  • Go to Henrietta's page and click "Add to friend List." Henrietta is yet another networker.
  • Refresh the page in your browser so Henrietta can accept your friend request.
  • On Henrietta's page, you can buy the mason jar blueprint from her trade module. Remember, you're buying the Blueprint, not the Item itself.
    • Definition: A Trade Module lets users trade mailable items with other users. You can build your own using the Trade Module Blueprint included in your inventory for 55 red lego bricks. (Networkers, such as Henrietta, have a special version of the Module that lets them trade Blueprints and non-mailable Items.)
  • Now go back to your inventory and build two Mason Jars. You'll need these later.
  • Make friends with bee keeper bill the same way you did with Henrietta and the other Networkers.
  • On Bee Keeper Bill's page, buy the worker bee blueprint with your two Mason Jars. Once again, you're buying the Blueprint and not the Item itself.
  • Befriend flora as you did before.
  • Build three Worker Bees. Each one costs four Red LEGO Bricks, so stock up!
  • Go to your mailbox and send Flora one of your Worker Bees. You now have the Blueprint for the flower patch module.
  • Build the Flower Patch Module and put it out on your page. It costs 15 red lego bricks.
  • The Flower Patch Module grows red flowers. Accumulate a small bunch of them; you'll need them later on.
  • Build another Mason Jar.
  • Now go to Flora's page and buy the potted plant Blueprint with your remaining two Worker Bees.
  • Build a Potted Plant. This costs a Red Flower and a Mason Jar.
  • Send this to Bee Keeper Bill to get the hive module Blueprint.
  • Build three more Worker Bees.
  • Now build the Hive Module and put it on your page. This costs your three Worker Bees and 20 Red LEGO Bricks.
    • Definition: Some Modules need to be "set up" in order to function. This means that you need to put one or more Items into the Module in order for it to function. In this case, you'll need a pollinated bee(see below) and a mason jar to grow honey pots(which is what your Hive Module does.) Be careful! Every time you harvest, you have to spend another Pollinated Bee and a Mason Jar to set the Module up again. The more impatient you are for harvesting, the more Bees and Jars you spend. If you decide you want your Bee and your Jar before any Pots have grown, you can press the X button on the Module.
    • Note: To make a Pollinated Bee, create a Worker Bee and click on someone else's Flower Patch Module.
  • Grow 20 Pots with your Hive Module. Spend those Pots on Bee Keeper Bill's page for the Royal Hive Queen Masterpiece Blueprint.
  • Befriend bartlebee.
  • Send him a Red Flower by mail to receive the Blueprint to the bee battle module, rank one.
    • Note: Sometimes, there are a series of Modules that perform similar, but different functions. In this case, we have the different types of Bee Battle Modules: Ranks 1, 2, and 3. Confusingly, these systems have nothing to do with the actual MLN Ranks 1, 2, and 3.
    • Build your new Module. You'll have to grow some extra Honey Pots and Red Flowers to get the needed Items. Put it out on your page as you did with the Tree Module.
    • Build a Worker Bee and use it to set up your Bee Battle Module, Rank 1.
      • Visiting users can click on your Module and risk a Worker Bee.

Walk through for Experienced Users

Henrietta and Mason Jars

  • Befriend Henrieta.
  • Build five apples. Each Apple costs one red lego brick to build.
  • Trade Henrietta five Apples for the mason jar blueprint.

Flora, Flowers and Potted Plants

  • Befriend flora.

  • Send Bee Keeper Bill the Potted Plant by mail to receive the hive module Blueprint.

Honey Pots

  • Build three more Worker Bees.
  • Build the Hive Module and put it on your page. This costs 20 Red LEGO Bricks and 3 Worker Bees to build.
  • Build another Worker Bee.
  • Find another user with a Flower Patch Module on their page and click on it. This changes your Worker Bee into a pollinated bee.
  • Build another Mason Jar.
  • On your page, use the setup button ( ) on the Hive Module to load your Pollinated Bee and Mason Jar.
  • Wait for honey pots to be produced from the Module.
    • Harvesting the hive will consume the Pollinated Bee and Mason Jar, and you must reload the Module with the Pollinated Bee and the Mason Jar to resume production. The Hive produces a maximum of 20 Honey Pots per harvest, which takes 48 hours without clicks.
  • Harvest your Hive Module by clicking it to receive 1-20 Honey Pots, depending on how long you've waited. The longer you wait, the more honey you will get, up to 20 pots.
  • Or you can build a worker, better, or best bee and click on someone's bee battle module. This will give you a chance to win up to 20 honey pots (depending on how high ranked the module is).

Bartlebee and Bee Battle Modules

  • Befriend bartlebee.
  • Send Bartlebee a Red Flower by mail to receive the bee battle, rank one Blueprint.
  • Build the Bee Battle Module. This costs 10 Red LEGO Bricks, 5 Red Flowers and 1 Honey Pot to build.
  • Build a Worker Bee and set-up your Bee Battle Module as you did with the Hive Module. Visiting users may risk a Worker Bee for Honey Pots, while you have a chance of winning the drone bee Blueprint. If you lose, you need to set up the module again.
  • There are also Bee Battle modules for Better Bee and Best Bee.
  • These module blue prints are traded for 2 Better Bees or a Drone Bee on Bartlebee's page.
  • The Drone Bee blue print is obtained from the Bee Battle Module rank 1 after you win... if you win

Royal Hive Queen Masterpiece

  • On Bee Keeper Bill's page, trade 20 Honey Pots for the royal hive queen masterpiece Blueprint.
  • Continue to produce honey until you have at least 50 Honey Pots.
  • Build a Drone Bee, which costs 25 Red LEGO Bricks to build.
  • Build 10 Worker Bees.
  • Finally, build the Royal Hive Queen Masterpiece. This costs 10 Red Flowers, 1 Drone Bee, 10 Worker Bees, and 50 Honey Pots.
  • Congratulations! You are now Rank 2! See rank two walk through!

Minimum Items Required

Days required to grow the required items with a single Module and without Module clicks.

  • 1 drone bee requires 2.5 days to grow 25 Red LEGO Bricks using the lego tree module.
  • 71 honey pots requires 7.1 days to grow using the Hive Module.
  • 21 worker bees requires 8.4 days to grow 84 Red LEGO Bricks using the LEGO Tree Module.
  • 4 pollinated bee requires 1.6 days to grow 16 Red LEGO Bricks using the LEGO Tree Module.
  • 29 red flowers requires 3.4 days to grow using the Flower Patch Module.
  • 7 mason jars requires 2.1 days to grow 21 Red LEGO Bricks using the LEGO Tree Module.
  • 5 apples requires 0.5 days to grow 5 Red LEGO Bricks using the LEGO Tree Module.

getting to rank 1 in my lego network

This is a walkthrough, a detailed guide leading a user through a Rank or mini-rank, and it does not need to adhere as strictly to the standard writing style as normal articles do

Welcome to the My Lego Network! This walkthrough will help you reach rank 1. Although rank 0 probably the easiest and shortest Rank, if you're new to My LEGO Network (MLN), it can be quite challenging to discover how to get started. For your convenience, below are two different walkthroughs: one for those that have no experience with MLN, and a consolidated version for anyone who doesn't need all the explanations.

Make an Apple

  • Now press Inventory in the top bar.
    • Definition: Your inventory is like a bank account—it holds everything you have, all right in front of you.
  • You should have 50 Red LEGO Bricks. On the right is the list of all the blueprints you have.
    • Note: If you converted a Lego Club page then you have an S.P.A. badge and possibly more bricks.
    • Definition: red lego bricks are a type of item. Items are not much more than virtual trinkets that have different purposes and different values.
  • Click "Apple Blueprint."
  • Below it appears a box that tells you all about the apple and what it takes to build it. Have a look at what you need—1 Red LEGO Brick. That should be easy!

Apple Pie

  • Now press Mailbox on the top bar.
    • Definition: The mailbox is a tool in MLN that allows you to send and receive messages from Networkers and other users. Remember to read all your mail—you can only have 30 messages at a time!
  • Press New.
  • Press Choose under the Recipient section.
  • Click on Echo and press Choose.
    • Definition: The user you choose under the Recipient section will get the message.
  • Press Choose under the Message section.
  • The top bar of the message selection tool lets you choose what category of message you want to look at. Go ahead, play around!
  • After you have selected a message you like, press Done.
    • Definition: The message you picked will be the message the recipient will receive.
  • Press Choose under the Attachment section.
  • Click on your Apple.
  • The box you see lets you pick how many Apples you want to send. You only need one Apple, so ignore this box and press OK.
    • Definition: An attachment is an optional part of a message that allows you to give other users Items. Be careful with this tool, they won't always give it back!
    • Definition: Did you notice that you didn't see your Red Bricks in the Item you selected? Only some Items are mailable (i.e. can be sent.) These Items show up with yellow backgrounds and borders in your inventory. Non-mailable Items have gray backgrounds and borders. Note, however, that Networkers are not limited by this, and they can even send Blueprints!
  • Press Send.
  • You have sent a letter to Echo with an Apple in it!
  • Press the Refresh button. It is the square button with the arrows forming a loop.
    • Definition: Your mailbox doesn't automatically update itself every time you get a message. Sometimes you need to refresh it if someone sends you a message while you're looking in your inbox.
  • Open up your new message and read it. Looks like Echo enjoyed your Apple!
  • Press Collect Attachment. You now have the Blueprint for a new Item—the apple pie!
  • Go back to the inventory. Press the Apple Pie Blueprint.
  • You need five Apples to build an Apple Pie, as you can see from the menu. Remember how you built that Apple? Do that again, but this time do it five times.
  • Go back to the Apple Pie Blueprint.
  • Build it as you did with the Apple. The Apple Pie is now ready for you!

Farmer John

  • Now press Public View at the very top of the page.
    • Definition: The Public View is a massive database of pages—everyone who joins MLN owns one of them!
  • Go to Echo's page.
  • Press Farmer John's portrait.
  • Under Farmer John's Avatar, press the "Add to Friendlist." You have now sent a friend request to Farmer John.
  • Go back to the Private View.
    • Definition: Friends can be Networkers or human users. If the user is human, then he/she needs to accept your request before you can become his/her friend
  • Press mailbox.
  • Using the same method above, send the Apple Pie to Farmer John.

Crimson Apple Masterpiece

  • Go to your Inventory.
  • Build an Apple.
  • Now you have the necessary Items to build the Crimson Apple Masterpiece. Go ahead and build it!
  • Congratulations! You are Rank one.

make your user in my lego network!

this is the way to make your MLN user press Go
